Reusable.
The Molds are blue silicone and the images show the cast of the positive mold for your reference (coloured pictures show the wounds in various stages of creation).
Directions on how to run Back Porch FX Silicone Molds using Mouldlife Platsil Gel 10:
Clean molds thoroughly using Isopropyl Alcohol.
Apply a thin layer of Mouldlife Ultra 4 Poxy Par Film to act as a release agent.
Apply 3-5 layers of Mouldlife Super Baldies Cap Plastic Spray spreading each layer thinly and allowing time to dry thoroughly between each layer.
Using Mouldlife Platsil Gel 10, mix equal amounts of the Part A & Part B together in a mixing cup using a wooden spatula, use a seperate spatula for each part ensuring that you do not cross contaminate the two parts.
Once the Platsil Gel 10 Silicone is mixed together, working quickly (you will have around 5-6 minutes working time before it cures)fill the mould making sure all areas and every nook and cranny is filled and covered.
Once the mold is filled, scrape off any excess silicone with a metal spatula in all directions until no part of the silicone sits any higher than the level of the mold itself.
Once the Platsil 10 has cured, use the Super Baldies Cap Plastic Spray once again over the top (which will end up being the back of the piece). Apply 3-5 even layers allowing them to dry inbetween applications.
Once the piece is completely dry you are ready to de mold, very slowly and carefully and using RCMA No Color Powder to aid grip, start to left away an edge of the piece adding more powder each time you lift more until eventually the entire piece is out of the mold.
