The Kett Airbrush Has a 0.4mm nozzle that provides a wider, diffused, spray area which is particularly suited to covering larger areas on the face or body.
Great when working on covering tattoos or for creating freckles.
Dual action trigger: it controls two actions, both the air flow and the fluid/product in a double stepped action. The first step is to gently press down the trigger (this releases the air flow), the second step is to pull the trigger back towards you- this controls the product flow.
Gravity fed design has a top cup/bowl in which to dispense the makeup.
All Kett liquid products are designed to flow smoothly and effortlessly through an airbrush with no need to dilute.
It is important to press down for air first before pulling back and introducing the product through the gun.
An advantage of a dual action style gun is the ability to create a steady airflow before allowing the product through the nozzle, thus eliminating an initial splatter.
As a general rule of thumb, with a good quality airbrush (such as Ketts) any product that is fluid enough to paint should be fine to airbrush, as long as it is a liquid consistency, it can be thinned down to dilute and make it even more fluid if required. Ensure that you use the correct, corresponding liquid to thin it down, for example, use distilled water with water based formulas and IPA (isopropyl alcohol) with alcohol based formulas.
It's essential to clean your airbrush thoroughly inbetween uses and to try to avoid allowing product to dry out in the gun as this is one of the main reasons for blockages.
Please be aware, this equipment is designed for professional use , Guru always recommend airbrush training to not only learn application techniques to get the most out of your airbrush makeup but also, equally important, to learn how to properly maintain and troubleshoot the equipment, in particular how to take apart an airbrush gun to thoroughly clean and remove blockages.
