To suit every production environment and character backstory, Ben Nye Grime FX Dirt Powder is available in three distinct, realistic shades:

Plains Dust: A warm, golden-tan earth tone engineered to replicate dry soil, desert dust, and dried clay. Ideal for westerns, outdoor survivalists, military desert camouflage, road worn travellers and dusty trail distressing.

Ash Powder: A pale, neutral grey powder designed to mimic wood ash, volcanic fallout, building debris and fire residue. Perfect for explosion survivors, chimney sweeps, urban ruin scenes and smoke damaged wardrobe FX.

Coal: A deep, intense charcoal black powder formulated to simulate heavy soot, motor oil grime and charred burn damage. Essential for mechanics, coal miners, industrial workers, blast charring and greasy engine filth.
Apply dry using a powder puff or stipple brush for fine dustings, or mix with water, glycerin, or gel to transform the powders into realistic wet muds, pastes, and grease buildup.
Provides approximately 10-20 applications per ounce.
