The Makeup Light (TML) has been designed by US Photographer Michael Astalos after discovering the issues that Makeup Artists were faced with trying to find adequate light sources both on set and on location.
The TML Meira is a square (12 x 12) makeup vanity, the inner part of the square is a high quality mirror surrounded by the infamous LED TML makeup light.
This clever vanity mirror and light combo comes complete with a compact and adjustable stand enabling quick and easy set up in any situation where a flat surface is available.
The mirrored glass is low ion which means that there is no green cast and you get a really true reflection.
The square 12 x 12 size makes this perfect for smaller spaces.
TML evenly distributes the light from around 5 ft away, filling the space and giving a very real and authentic view so that what you apply will stay true under any other lights.
One of its many features is a built in dimmer switch allowing you to achieve five different settings from lowest to highest. When the light is switched on it will automatically be on the brightest setting and gently tapping the discreet dimmer switch will decrease the brightness by 20% with each tap. To switch off simply hold the dimmer switch for a little longer-approximately 2 seconds.
Even on the highest setting the brightness is not too uncomfortable on the eyes and will not cause spots or flashes before the eyes.

Unlike other makeup lights, TML offers a full light spectrum whereas some other LED lights do not show the full colour range and only go as far as magenta so red is not seen which can be very problematic.
