For realistic splatter: Dip a coarse stipple sponge or stiff-bristled brush into the blood and flick across the skin/appliance. For running blood effects, apply with an eyedropper and allow it to trail down before setting it briefly with a cool-air hair dryer to freeze the drip in place.
